Playbill.com went behind the scenes with Gardiner Comfort for his one-man show, The Elephant In Every Room I Enter coming to The First Floor Theatre at La MaMa:


"In The Elephant in Every Room I Enter, Gardiner Comfort shares his life as an actor with a neurological disorder and discovers, for the first time in his life, how he can be himself after attending the Tourette Syndrome Association National Conference in Washington, DC. The show was created by Comfort and Kel Haney; Haney directs. Performances begin Oct. 15."

Playbill covers La MaMa's 2013 Fall Season


Carey Purcell reports on our Fall 2013 Season as well as our new 10 @ $10 ticket initiative.

"La MaMa has announced its fall 2013 season as well as a new, inexpensive ticketing program.

Under the artistic direction of Mia Yoo, the season will feature puppetry and performance art, including Lee Breuer, Dario D’Ambrosi, Pascal Rambert, Maureen Fleming, Dan Fishback and Max Steele. Some of the works revisit classic literature, address the aftermath of natural disasters and contemplate world economics."
