The Downstairs at La MaMa is transformed for the world premiere of Martyrs this weekend -- a fall down the rabbit hole of shame, femininity, and food! This all female cast and creative team are loading into the space in preparation for this unforgettable slumber party where tensions rise as Cat and Kitten, the two main characters, negotiate restraint versus indulgence & sensuality versus innocence.
