Ping Chong and Meredith Monk Awarded National Medal of the Arts and Humanities

Yesterday, September 10, 2015, President Barack Obama presented the National Medals of the Arts and Humanities Awards at the White House to eleven recipients for "rare truths about the common experiences that we have as Americans and as human beings."  Among the recipients were La MaMa Resident Artist Ping Chong and La MaMa Alum Meredith Monk.  A huge congratulations to them and all the recipients!
